  1. 202-008-L04

The 202-008 is dominated by the pale tan vintage military strap and dial graphics, and is one of the most popular Canford models.

The case is brushed-black PVD to catch the light for a smarter look, and the tan strap is custom moulded to fit the case precisely, highlighting the contrasting colours.

The circular groove on the dial combined with subtle white SuperLuminova hour markers and white tip on the seconds hand give the whole dial pin sharp legibility and a lightness of touch.

The fitted oiled leather strap has a matching brushed black PVD-coated single-fold deployant buckle that clicks closed to the right size every time, with our logo picked out in luminous tan colour.

Please note that the tan SuperLuminova hands don't glow quite as brightly as the natural pale green luminous.

  2. 202-008-L11

The 202-008-L11 is based on one of our most popular Canfords. It came about because we were asked to make a black leather strap that suited this watch.

The result is this pebbled leather strap, highlighting the contrasting colours with it's tan stitch and custom moulded to fit the case precisely. It comes with a matching brushed black PVD-coated single-fold deployant buckle that clicks closed to the right size every time, and our logo picked out in luminous tan colour. The brushed-black PVD case catches the light for a smarter look, and the circular grooves on the dial give the whole dial pin sharp legibility and a lightness of touch.

Please note that the tan SuperLuminova hands don't glow quite as brightly as the natural pale green luminous.

  3. 202-009-L05

We really wanted a rich oxblood-burgundy leather strap, so we designed one, and then built this handsome watch to go perfectly with it. Inspired by the Englishness of button-backed chesterfield sofas, cricket balls, and DM boots, it’s one of the most individual watches we make, and one of the most popular.

The unique brushed gunmetal case and sunray-silver dial are contemporary, sharp, and monochrome, and contrast beautifully with the warmth and age provided by the oxblood leather strap.

    A real ‘signature’ watch.

  4. 202-012 Mountain Rescue Edition

We're delighted to announce the launch of an updated version of the Mountain Rescue Canford that's due to arrive with us in late August / Sept.

The dial has a very subtle matt on gloss MREW logo in the bottom half - it's one of those "if you know, you know" kind of details and we've fitted it with our practical EPDM rubber strap as standard.

As a result of our constant search for functional enhancements, we've developed a brand new locking crown for the inner timing bezel to make this model even more suitable for professional use, and we've also fitted it with a sapphire crystal - the first time we've fitted a sapphire to a Canford.

Designed in collaboration with Mountain Rescue England and Wales, the 202-012 features a unique caseback with deep-etched special edition Mountain Rescue logo.

For outstanding visibility, extra bold hour batons stand out on the dial, matched to bright white hands filled with green SuperLuminova and a fully luminised seconds hand.
The inner timing bezel now features an over sized 12h triangular marker with an MREW inspired red outline.

Also included in the box is one of our durable black nylon webbing straps with brushed 316L stainless steel hardware. The strap bars screw into the case using a pentalobe tool that locates securely into the end of the strap bar - making for easy strap changes.

So you’ve got a classic steel watch on a black rubber strap for the working week, and a hard-as-nails outdoors watch for weekends spent enjoying the countryside and mountains with the added flexibility of changing straps to longer webbing when needed.  All our 22mm straps fit this model for personal customisation.

The perfect mix of luxury and utility.

A not insubstantial £36 will be donated to Mountain Rescue England & Wales for each watch sold, helping Mountain Rescue to buy vital equipment.

MREW team members interested in purchasing this model will receive a significant discount. Please email for details. If you're a member of a non MREW Mountain or Lowland rescue team, please get in touch with proof of membership and we'll let you know what we can do.

As people who live for the outdoors, we can’t tell you how proud we are to be able to support Mountain Rescue in this way. We wrote a little blog post about how and why we wanted to here.

  5. 202-016-R10

A watch with surprising depth.  The sunray silver dial with white markings is discinctive with it's satin black contrasting inner timing bezel giving the perfect frame for the captivating dial.  Viewed from straignt on, the minute indices are just visible, turn it on it's side and it's almost as if a whole new dial reveals itself.

The combination of bright silver face, clear black hands and indices, contrast inner rotating timing bezel and mid grey soft rubber strap give the '016' great all round appeal.  The soft grey rubber strap could easily be mistaken for premium leather from a distance so it'll look as good with a suit as will perform in harshest conditions.

Black framed hands and almost invisible by day, dial markers are infilled with white Superluminova that glows with a beautiful blue hue as the light fades.

The EPDM rubber strap is silicone-free, meaning it's not sticky or stretchy, it's very comfortable to wear, and it doesn't contain natural rubber ('caoutchouc') either, so no allergy problems.

The more we look at this watch the more we like it.

  6. 202-017-R10

One of our more sophisticated models with a champagne sunray dial perfectly complimented with subtle white framed hands with polished outer bezel and crowns.

Pale green Superluminova infill on the hands gives off a classic vibe yet almost magically glows blue at night - not green.

The red seconds hand and matching 12h marker on the inner timing bezel hint at the durable sporting credentials hidden beneath it's elegant exterior.

    Subtle matt grey perfection.

Our signature micro grooved dial creates subtle visual effects as it reflects and absorbs light.

Chrome numerals, hour markers and hands provide reflective references against the matt textured dial and really ‘pop’. Pale green SuperLuminova gives a subtle nod to classic timepieces and this model is finished with a matt white seconds hand.

The entire case and solid steel tapered link bracelet are vapour blasted to a gorgeous and distinctive soft matt finish.

The bracelet clasp is fitted with our built-in micro extension – perfect for increasing in size to fit over a summer or winter wetsuit or for a little extra room on warmer days.

Stripped back simplicity, bold hands, red highlights and subtle grey-on-black numerals mark this Canford apart.

The visual effects of the minimalistic grey on black numerals, inner bezel markings and red accents give this model an elegant, sporting simplicity.

A soft matt black rubber strap with matching brushed stainless EB wide tongue buckle is the perfect companion for dressing up and equally ready for action.

Gold indices, sunray black dial and pale green ‘lume’ give the ‘021 a contemporary yet vintage appearance. It’s a unique combination that encourages admiring comments from whoever sees it.

We worked long and hard to incorporate gold highlights without the watch appearing at all ‘showy’. Pale green and off white SuperLuminova provide echoes of vintage horology and work so well with the gold highlights and dark brushed dial – they also happen to perform superbly at night.

Fitted on a softly textured black leather strap with ivory contrast stitch and brushed deployant clasp with green ‘lume’ filling the engraved EB shield.

The gold EB shield on the caseback is one of those ‘if you know, you know’ kind of details that we love.

  10. 202-025-R01 RNLI Canford Special Edition

The RNLI Canford is one of those watches that's effortless to own, stylish and totally fit for purpose, with the added feel good factor of knowing that your purchase provides support for the RNLI, because for every special edition watch, we are paying £35* in support of the charity.

Whilst working with the RNLI team to develop this historic collaboration, some really special and unique details have been brought to life such as the rope and anchor logo that was re-designed from the archives after we all agreed it was the most fitting detail for the case back. In addition, there are small white and blue circular dial indexes positioned outside the hour batons as a subtle, if you know, you know reference to the white and blue boat hooks carried by every RNLI offshore vessel.  The coloured hooks hark back to the earliest days of the service, when lifeboats were powered by oar and sail, with blue oars on the starboard side and white on the port side so that people could tell which way around the double ended lifeboat was rowing.

The Canford RNLI special edition is built to a professional specification with a locking inner timing bezel operated only when the upper crown is extended from the case. There's an over size luminous 12H index on the inner bezel which works perfectly with the bold hour batons and hands for perfectly clear visibility or event timing even in low or poor lighting.

Domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal provides enhanced scratch resistance and long service life in addition to the already high Canford spec including a shock protection system, triple sealed crowns, marine grade stainless case and 'compressor' bolted down case back.

The RNLI Canford is fitted with our most popular custom black EPDM rubber strap - a durable, practical strapping system used widely by our military and blue light community.
This strap has it’s own development story (plus a NATO stock number) and is the go-to strap of choice for this watch, having survived a 12 month global circumnavigation mounted to a Clipper ’70 race yacht - returning totally unscathed.  All other 22mm Elliot Brown straps will also fit for effortless personalisation options, aided by the fitment of single sided screw in strap bars that are easily removed with the precision tool provided.

The Swiss movement is housed inside a bespoke shock absorption system and every watch is pressure tested three times before it’s signed off, twice under air pressure and for the 3rd test it's pressurised under water at 200m. Lets’s just say it’s been a little deeper than you are likely to reach on your adventures.

So you’ve got a classic steel watch with smart rubber strap for the working week and a hard-as-nails outdoors watch built for spending time on the water or hills built with precision and a fundamental attention to detail, befitting of a watch carrying so much on it's shoulders.

The perfect mix of style and utility.
