Firefighters Watches

Firefighters Watches

The order deadline for the 2nd batch of watches has now passed. We have left this page live for any FF who wishes to find out more about the project.

There may be a few spare watches available after all the orders have been shipped nearer Christmas 2018.  If you missed the deadlie but are interested in buying a watch, send an message to with your contact details and which model you'd prefer and if we have one spare we'll contact you.

The watches are only available as a pre-order to firefighters their families and support staff.  They are made to order with personal engraving included on the unique case back and there’s a split payment option.
For every watch sold we donate £35 to firefighters charities and were very proud to donate £11,000 from the first batch of watches split between the Fire Fighters Charity, MIND and the FBU’s 100 Lottery fund.  With your help we hope to donate another significant sum from the second batch.

There's also a smaller model called the Kimmeridge.  It's 38mm across as opposed to the 44mm Canford model and has a dark blue face - perfect for smaller wrists.  Each one comes in four versions with a red, blue green or white tip on the seconds hand.  If your watch colour differs from the four options or you don’t work to a shift pattern, the white version is the one for you.

Elliot Brown is renowned amongst blue light services, the military and endurance sports fraternity for robust, reliable 'tool' watches that are fit for purpose and built up to a standard. We support a number of firefighters which is how the relationship with the FBU naturally came about.

Our watches have sustained incredible feats of endurance, rowing oceans, travelling the globe mounted to race yachts, summited Mount Everest, visited both poles and broken world records jumping from 35,000 feet.
You can pre-order yours up until 30th June 2018 and we will engrave each case back with your personal details. Enter your engraving details before adding the watch to the basket.

We will begin production early in July and it takes approximately 130 days to make and test every watch. After a final check, we plan to start despatching watches towards the end of November 2018 in the order they were purchased and it will take a week or two to securely ship all orders.

The watches are handsome, functional and special to anyone in the fire service no matter what age or rank, serving or retired. Their custom designs are subtle “if you know, you know” kind of watches based on our best-selling 'supercompressor' Swiss quartz Canford and Kimmeridge models with a beautifully machined case back.  If you aren't familiar with Elliot Brown watches, we would urge you to ask your colleagues to have a look at the one of the first Canford Firefighters watches we produced last year and ask their opinion.

The Swiss quartz movement is secured inside a special shock absorbing housing, every watch is tested in water at 200m and comes with two premium straps – one rubber and one leather. Using the code shown on the watch pages you can order any additional strap (22mm for Canford, 20mm for Kimmeridge) with 30% discount.
Once you’ve placed your order, we’ll keep in regular contact with updates on how production and testing is going up until we’re ready to ship your watch.
We use DPD next day courier who are great at keeping in touch with delivery detials to make sure your watch reaches you safely.

The firefighters watch came about because of our relationship with firefighter Darren (Billy) Taylor who we supported when he rowed the Pacific and recently the Indian Ocean to raise awareness of Spotlight YOPD, the charity for young onset Parkinson’s Disease.  He approached the FBU and secured their endorsement for a watch that raises money for the FBU’s chosen charities. You can support YOPD here
